We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded leader with a passion for medical technology to join the team as ”Head of Sales Nordics” at the Headquarters in Mölnlycke, Sweden. The position will report to the General Manager Nordics.
Lumibird Medical Nordics consists of the three subsidiaries located in Sweden, Norway and Finland and belongs to the French group Lumibird Medical. It develops, manufactures and markets innovative medical laser and ultrasound solutions in ophthalmology. The range of lasers and ultrasound platforms are designed to diagnose and treat the four main causes of blindness: cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Main tasks & Responsibilities
- Overall responsible to deliver the Annual Sales Budget, sales numbers through the development of a Nordic sales strategic action plan. To contribute to the strategic agenda of the Nordic countries, and to lead the local sales team and own the selling culture
- To deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly sales objectives for the region through effective sales team management and strategic management of local/regional key contracts & customers
- Implement and follow-up on all sales activities, budgeting, gross margin and costs
- Responsible for signing new, follow-up and termination of customer agreements
- Nurture and develop the company's business relationships with main suppliers
- Set objectives, targets and action plans within the areas of responsibility of the sales team
- Responsible for personnel management within the sales team inc. individual development plans for each team member
- Plan and conduct prospectus meetings
- Participate in business negotiations (agreements and new deals) when needed
- Travel planning, own visits and joint visits with the sales team in the Nordic countries
- Overall responsible for the design and pricing of agreements, quotes and approve credits
Your Profile
As "Head of Sales Nordics” you will play a crucial part in leading and inspiring the sales team across the Nordics. We are actively seeking for a dynamic and commercially minded professional, a self-driven and strategic individual with a proven track record in sales, who can bring enthusiasm and expertise to our collaborative team.
To be successful in this position we want you to possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices with an ability to coach others on them. You have a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams with leadership and strategic sales as well as team building skills.
You possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Swedish (mother tongue) and English.
Experience in tender business within medical device/equipment is an extra plus.
