Product Specialist to Mediplast
Mediplast is expanding and we are now looking for a Product Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance to physicians and their staff on the effective use of stroke solutions and catheter equipment during procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for the designated product portfolio, driving sales and marketing efforts across the country. Your support will be key in ensuring optimal product use while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Training & Customer Education: Educate customers on neurovascular products through technical and clinical training, in-service sessions, and product demonstrations. Stay updated on product instructions, best practices, and clinical advancements.
- Customer Relationship & Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and maintaining key customer and KOL contacts. Ensure product availability in hospitals and manage consignment stock where applicable.
- Business & Market Analysis: Analyze market data to optimize territory plans, support decision-making, and contribute to marketing activities. Collaborate across business units to drive commercial success.
- Industry Representation & Networking: Represent the company at industry fairs and events, actively promoting products and building relationships with key professionals.
- Tender Process: The role includes active participation both in the pre-tender process as well as tender submission. You will influence the tender specification and work closely with the Tender department to ensure successful submissions. You will also provide market insights and product expertise to support competitive and well- structured tenders.
About you
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a university degree in natural or engineering sciences (such as medical, chemistry, or pharmacy) or equivalent qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales and strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and guide physicians through complex procedures. A team- and customer-oriented approach is essential, along with the ability to connect with stakeholders at various levels within healthcare institutions.
This role requires strong analytical skills and confidence in working with data analysis tools. The candidate should be able to initiate and drive projects from development through to implementation and completion. The position involves working in a hospital environment, attending live patient cases.
Other Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel as required for the role
- Experience working with highly complex technical systems or in a critical patient care setting is an advantage
- Broad understanding of vascular anatomy is beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the patient care team
