Area Sales Manager - Finland

Are you passionate about sales and creating long-term customer relationships? Lumibird Medical Nordics is now looking for a commercially minded person with passion for Medical Technology to join the team as Area Sales Manager in Finland. The position will report to Head of Sales Nordics.
Lumibird Medical Nordics consists of the three subsidiaries located in Sweden, Norway and Finland and belongs to the French group Lumibird Medical. It develops, manufactures and markets innovative medical laser and ultrasound solutions in ophthalmology. The range of lasers and ultrasound platforms are designed to diagnose and treat the four main causes of blindness: cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Lumibird have become the world leader in ophthalmology with a presence in over 110 countries either directly or via a distributor network.

About the role
As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for sales development and customer relations in Finland. Lumibird Medical Nordics offers our customers, among other things, YAG/SLT-lasers, retinal lasers and ultrasound equipment from our own manufacturers Ellex and Quantel Medical. We also offers products and equipments from several other globally, established manufacturers.
Suitable place of residence is flexible. You will work form your home office.
The Nordic Headquarters is located in Mölnlycke, Sweden.
Main tasks & Responsibilities
- You drive sales in your district and are responsible for ensuring that we reach the budget and goals that have been set.
- You follow up on agreements and inquiries from customers and respond to tenders.
- You are also responsible for follow-up after the sales of equipment and conduct training on handling. Installation in connection with the delivery of equipment occurs as well.
- You participate in fairs and exhibitions, both in Finland and abroad.
- Representing and selling Lumibird Medical as a supplier of equipment and services is an important part of the work.
Your Profile
- You are an open, positive person who finds it easy to collaborate with colleagues and you don’t hesitate to go the extra mile to solve a problem that ultimately makes our customers satisfied.
- We would like you to have work experience of similar assignments with sales in the Medical Technology business with a clear customer focus and willingness of building long-term relationships.
- Since we are a Nordic organization with colleagues and suppliers abroad, it’s necessary that you have a good knowledge in writing and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in sales and training within ophthalmology or the optical industry is an advantage.
- Experience in tender business within medical device/equipment is an extra plus.
